India has a vast health care system, but there remain many differences in quality between rural and urban areas as well as between public and private health care. The need of the hour is thus a two pronged approach – first to bring quality healthcare services to doorsteps of the needy and second to promote healthcare awareness and contemporary healthcare seeking behaviour among the underprivileged.

India has an estimated 46 million children between 6-18 years of age who are not in school. Some have never had the chance and many have had to drop out – either to work as child labourers or because they’re being forced to get married.

Under the CSR scheme, ONCG provided UVRO and water coolers to government schools.
The country’s prestigious company, ONCG, under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme, provided UVRO and water coolers to 17 government schools under the Doiwala Assembly constituency. On Saturday, in Kuanwala, a former secondary school in the Doiwala Assembly constituency, area MLA Brijbhushan Gairola formally inaugurated this CSR scheme. MLA Gairola provided UVRO and water coolers to the CRPF B.S. Rawat. In a simple program, MLA Brijbhushan Gairola of Doiwala, through ONCG’s Corporate Social Responsibility, is playing a positive role not only in the country but also in the state of Uttarakhand. In this series, through the Dev Bhoomi Swaraj Foundation, work is being done to install UVRO and water coolers in 17 schools in the Doiwala area. In his address, MLA Gairola said that children will have access to clean water through UVRO and water coolers, ensuring not only education but also health.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Devbhoomi Swaraj Foundation, Inder Singh Ramola, BJP Mandal President Pushpa Bharadwaj, Subedar Harimohan Rawat, Councilor Prashant Kharola, former head Rahul Panwar, UVRO’s Rajesh Pandey, teacher Suresh Rawat, RS Rawat, Yashpal Singh, teacher Geeta Shah, Reena Rauthan, editor Lok Satya Gopal Dutt Joshi, etc., were present. The program was conducted by L. Mohan Lakhera.
